When readers ask for the biggest complete copper distiller on our size list, this is the one we name. The 50 gallon Advanced Model comes as a complete set with a 10 gallon thumper and a 10 gallon worm, so every piece from pot to condenser is built for big batches.
List facts
- Size: 50 gallon
- Thumper: 10 gallon

- Build: Advanced Model, complete copper distiller
Bigger batches, same science
Scaling up doesn't change the chemistry, but it does change how you work. A larger charge takes patience as you bring it up to temperature. The 10 gallon thumper gives vapor a second chamber to pass through. The 10 gallon worm is the coiled condenser where that vapor turns back into liquid. Each piece is a variable you learn to read, and at this size, reading them well pays off in every run.
Who it suits
We list this for the experienced hobbyist or permitted distiller who has outgrown a 30 gallon pot and wants a finished set, not a build project. Per gallon, it costs a little less than the 30 gallon complete unit on our budget list. If you'd rather solder your own and go even bigger, look at the 60 gallon EZ Kit.
