Most listings make you shop for one size. This one covers eighteen. The Craft Distillation Unit is a complete copper distillation unit. It comes in sizes from a 1 gallon bench unit up to a 100 gallon pot, so it shows up on nearly every size list we keep.
The full size range
- Small batch: 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, and 5 gallon
- Mid-size: 6, 10, 15, and 20 gallon
- Large: 25, 30, 40, and 50 gallon
- Biggest: 60, 70, 80, and 100 gallon
How to pick a size
Think of the size as how big your experiment is. A small pot lets you run a test, write down what happened, change one thing, and run it again. Every run teaches you something about heat and vapor. A bigger pot pays off once you know exactly what you want and you need the room to do it. Many people start small and move up later. With one design in every size, moving up doesn't mean learning new equipment.
Budget
Prices start at $329. That's the entry price, and bigger sizes cost more. Pick your size on the product page to see what it costs.
Uses and the law
Owning a still is legal in the US. Copper units like this are used to distill water and essential oils, and to make fuel alcohol with a permit. Making spirits requires a federal TTB permit, and you must follow federal, state, and local law.
